Just a sneaky peeky . . .

7 – James . . .

Although it says “7″, technically it is my 5th one since I started this painting frenzy. Only 105 more to go!! haha! I love it!

James is the soon to be baby brother of Charlotte. And just in case you don’t remember her painting, here is a little reminder.

I love this picture of Charlotte's painting

Seems like just a few short months ago that I painted the above picture. Amazing how time flies – and these aren’t even my kids!

This momma has some great taste, because both beddings {and rooms} for both of these kids have been uber cute!

There are several fabrics – to include blue and brown hounds tooth, a brown fabric with a blue elephant and a green minky dot, but this fabric in particular had all the colors.

I’m loving the light turquoise, green, white and brown combination.

As I’m sure you can tell when I take a boat load of up close pictures!!!!

I get sooooo many inquiries about bedding. I’d say at least 2 with each post! Thinking I might need to start posting with each post where all the bedding comes from. When would also be helpful just in case it was from a while back. That way you won’t get your hopes up if someone bought it consignment or had it for a kid or two.

This bedding in particular came from Modern Pea Pod.

The wall color in this room “will” be a few shades lighter than the dots. {I can’t wait to see it – **hint, hint**}

And because I’m on a roll . . . . .

Now, this here is a bona fide, real deal, authentic sneaky peeky – because even I don’t know what it looks like since I haven’t completed it!

At this time, I would like to thank Sonic for dinner and desert. I appreciate that you have not yet done away with the jr sundaes – which you are supposedly ridding yourself of. The fact that I could park, plug in a Scooby Doo DVD, feed my kids the “nutrition” you provide all the while using your free WiFi to whip up this post is truly priceless. I am forever indebted to you.

Complete Randomness with a Sneaky Peeky Thrown in . . .

Everyone has been talking about “shellac” for your nails. I was dying to try it but when do I have time to get my nails done?!? I used Krista’s wedding as my excuse to do it. And I have to tell you that I love it! Love at a ridiculous level. Love to the point that I will make time to have this done on a regular basis.

I’m sure most of you are going to know what this is, but for those that don’t . . . let me explain. It is a gel like polish that dries basically in a snap and it is YOUR nails. They buff just a tiny bit of your nail – seriously, just a ‘bump’ so that the gel can adhere to your nail. They paint a base coat and set your nails under a light. And then two coats of the color while putting your nails under the light after each coat.

I’m glad I chose a very neutral color because you really can’t see the grow out portion.

{proof I paint.} {yes, I have ugly hands.}

Unlike acrylics, there is not the huge bump where they grow out {or at least there wasn’t with mine.} But like acrylics, they are stronger. In my line of business {and I’m talking about motherhood not painting,} it is impossible to have a polished nails – until now!

These pictures were taking after 10 days. Ten DAYS!  This is the length that I like to keep my nails. So, I have filed them down 3 different times!! AND you can’t tell!!! Totally worth ever penny! And this color is called Bubble Bath. The color on my nails, not the color on my fingers.

The color on my fingers is from this painting . . .

Now, I’m using this picture as my sneaky peeky because you would not believe how weird I felt painting utters! Almost uncomfortable. And I don’t know why, other than I don’t make a habit of painting any type of mammals’ boobs?! But honestly, the cow looked strange without them?!

Therefor, the cow has them. I refuse to have a funny looking cow – although, this is one funny looking cow.
