First off – I have to answer emails!!! If you have emailed me, I’ll start on those tonight!
I finally got my new washer and dryer AND I’m in love!! I’ve determined that for just a basic load, I can wash AND dry it in 1 hour. ONE HOUR!!! By the time I’ve folded a load and put it away, it is time to fold the next one. And yes, I had to do the whole “test” thing and shove as many towels as I could in the washer. I seriously could not physically cram anymore towels into it – I just knew that I had filled it beyond capacity. BUT once it got wet and especially after it spun around, I was shocked at how much room was left for more towels! C-Razy!
And I’m now caught up. You would never believe how many clothes 6 people can go through in basically 2 weeks. I had washed 3 loads last week at my neighbors because there were a few items we were really low on. But there was still so much more!!

Today, I have another PBK bedding. The Sophie – this is one of the beddings I’ve always really loved. Just good/basic/classic little girl nursery colors. You cannot go wrong with this bedding!
This client liked a painting I did in the past – that was coordinated to the same bedding. We did decide to change it a little especially since this canvas is a 16×40 {which means HUGE.
I love the name Elizabeth – why have I not painted more of them? Such a good, strong name. I had a great-aunt Elizabeth. She was such a nice lady. She lived in the house behind my grandfather {her brother} my entire life. They were super close. My grandfather built his house first once he moved back to the states after retiring from the Air Force. It wasn’t long after that, Uncle John retired from the military and he & Aunt “Lizabeth” moved to the same town and built their home on the lot{s} behind Grandaddy & Grandmama Tate’s house. I just remember how kind and gentle she was. I actually wanted to name Emme Elizabeth after her – there was just that small thing of Lonnie’s ex GF was named Elizabeth. I had convinced him to use it as a middle name, but ended up not going that route. Too bad, Emsley Elizabeth actually sounds good together! haha!
Yes, I managed to paint a different border {again!} It is only a matter of time before I have to start copying myself!!!!

I am finished {except for some bling!} on this next one since taking this picture! I’m dying. This is the idea I had for Em’s room for her a painting – and I do plan on using this same idea only a few changed things! I can’t believe how this came together. It was one of those times when I had the image of what I wanted in my head, only it wasn’t a clear image. Luckily, I’m working with a client that humors me and lets us just ride it out as the design falls into place {I’m sure she is sitting on pins and needles, praying it doesn’t look like poo, regretting this decision!!}
I was in a zone when painting this one. I hope it meets expectations.

I KNOW HOW MUCH 6 people make in laundry, lol + we do cloth diapers:) Oh yeah, tons of fun. And we are on our last legs with the washer and dryer. It takes 160 min. on HIGH just to dry that mess. Plus, and are ya ready for this. . . our well is now laying on our front lawn. I didn’t think this was physically possible, but when you have a well pump and said well pump breaks, you have to pull out all 160 ft. of line and muck and then try and figure how to replace it. We are literally hooked up via garden hose to our neighbors water. And let me tell ya, we are looking at another week before we get this mess fixed. Sorry. . . just had to vent.
Beautiful work as usual! Lovin the ‘R’!
Kim–I LOVE it!!! It is so exciting to see my granddaughter’s painting on your blog!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
