5 – Hannah Mae . . .

I’m giddy. Really, I am. I’m already working on another one – and not even the sneaky peeky in this post! BUT the one after that!!!! Seriously, nobody stop me – I’m on a R-O-L-L! I’m still averaging out about 1 every other day. The babysitting situation is working great. And I’m really enjoying my summer. Basically, I have it together {sure that was the ‘kiss of death!’} But I did skip the shower this morning – only because I wanted to stay focused on this drive. And since I know some of you are concerned, I did wash my face as well as brush my teeth. haha!

If you remember from my last sneaky peeky, I said I wasn’t finished. And if you click on that link and compare the pictures, it is AAA-mazing how much difference the details make!!

For those who can’t tell {because the lighting was completely off and I still do not know how to use my camera,} the name is on a white background and the harlequin pattern is 2 shades of pink.

And then there is probably about 17 different shades of metallics. Basically, because I couldn’t decide on just one, two or even three. It was as if this canvas just wanted to be all shimmery or something. So, I kept giving it to her!!!

The walls in the room are two different shades of soft pinks – with a painted vertical stripe above a chair rail. I’m excited to see this one on the wall!

I will admit, Monday, I spent some time by the pool! No one needs to worry about me not enjoying this hot Tennessee weather! And for the first time, I think since ever, that I’ve not worried about laundry! Mainly because my washer is broke. I did order a new one, but it will not be delivered until Wednesday. This means I still don’t have to worry about laundry! haha! Although, I will probably be doing laundry solid for 24 hours come Wednesday. And since I do laundry every. single. day. ,  . . . . I’m thinking I can use this time to paint! Until Wednesday – of course.

This blue is actually more on the lines of turquoise. And since I have completed this piece, I’ve taken pictures, too. In those you can see the color more accurately. And although the overall design is similar to the ones I do, I think there are going to be a few of you that like the “shape” this one has. {I sure do!}

Until tomorrow . . . .

About Kim
I picked up a paint brush for the first time 7 years ago, and haven't put it down since. My goal - To paint a canvas for my son's nursery. I never dreamed a business would be born out of it. {And if you saw the first canvas, you would think the same thing, too!}
