The second one is marked off the list! Whoo-hoo!! I can’t tell you how excited I am. I know this is only the 2nd one that you have seen, but I’ve actually finished a couple more. I’m averaging about 1 every other day. And though my goal is 5 a week, even if I can keep up this pace of 1 every other day, I’m doing great!!!
Some of you will recognize this room.
And yes, I lifted these pictures. You know the drill – like ghost, they could be gone immediately. But only if I’m threatened with a lawsuit. Okay, just kidding – if I’m asked, they will be removed.
This painting came together easily!!
Since the stripe is really only in the window treatments, the design focus was put on them. There was also a little more emphasis put on the turquoise in the stripe.
This was one of those times I just didn’t have a favorite letter – it was more like favorite letterS. Yes, I loved them all. This font fit the room, the fabrics and just the feeling overall that the room gives. Love. it.
When I was pregnant with Hudson, I had 4 names picked out. Yes, 4. For one, I was huge – my gut told me I was having twins. Seriously – I knew so much I was having twins I bought double fabric when I purchased all the stuff for the nursery. Little did I know I was my own prophet and just had the wrong pregnancy! All that extra fabric came in handy the second time around! But back on point – my names . . . Hudson Wyatt, Nolan Thomas, Hadley Tate and Gracyn Ellis. That way, I had everyone covered you see! I loved the name Grayson. But Hudson and Nolan won out as our first 2 name choices for boys. BUT I changed it a smidge – and obviously you pronounce it a smidge different – and made it one of my girl’s name. Ellis is my Dad’s middle name, so originally I was looking at Grayson Ellis. And although I think “Ellis” is a beautiful girl’s name – it totally is a man’s name {because we have a few men in the fam with that name.} And my Grandaddy would probably have killed me if I gave my daughter his name, but as in most instances – what you don’t know won’t hurt you! Right?
I said all that to say – I love the name Grayson.
So let me state the obvious – I have no idea where she will hang this painting because she has some fabulous wall art going on now! This art was a little surprise for Melissa as she won a drawing a while back that she didn’t know she was even in. {Got to love it when that happens!}
And proof that I’m not sitting around the pool relaxing . . .
Have a great Wednesday!

That room is so amazing. And of course the new font ~ too cute. I love the way everything you do just flows.
That room is awesome!! Definitely my kinda room!!! And your painting is gonna look amazing in it.
