I got a text last night that informed me that “it has been a week since I blogged.” Seriously. That was all it said. That is a good friend! To tell me like it is!!! hahah! I had every intentions of blogging last night but I was tired! Last weekend drained me. I had the wedding. Then on Sunday, I helped a friend cater another friend’s wedding. And it wiped me out!
I do have pictures of the wedding by the way. I’ll try to get those up soon!
The next painting is for a good friend. Some of you know her as the Blue Eyed Bride. She is having her 2nd baby, Hayes!! Because the smart thinker she is, she is keeping the current nursery – which is soooo stinkin’ cute! Hudson just got booted out to his new big boy room. {Expect a little something for his room shortly!}
Obviously, this was when it was Hudson’s room – but I love the overall look of this room! My main goal was to bring out a few more colors, because I wanted to make it special and different for Hayes.
Since taking these pictures, I put a few more “red” & “blue” coats. It is amazing what the camera shows {and doesn’t show for that matter!} But here is a great close-up of the fabric. The green behind the dots is a huge color focus. So, I actually picked a green that coordinated with all the greens from all the fabrics.
This room is really an awesome nursery!
This is another 16×40. I really love this size, but it really is funny to watch me painting it! The canvas was on the floor and I was straddling it, bent over painting it and Hudson walked in. He told me to be careful, I look like I was going to hurt myself. {Ha!}
I continued the blue {the color of “Hayes”} around the lower bottom sides and the bottom. While the green with white dots is on the upper sides and top.
I canNOT wait to see this one hanging up! I know I say that every time, but it so true.

amazing as always! I think my favorite part about it is the non-centering of the name on the canvas – so fresh and original!
WoW I think this might be my FAVORITE painting of all time… Love the colors and the polka dot and stripes… YIKES… I am in love, GREAT job… and SUPER DUPER cute nursery!
Love your stuff, you are really talented!!
