I don’t know how many of you read Edie’s Life {in} Grace, but today is a special day – it’s Edie’s “birfday!” I don’t know how she wanted to celebrate it, but it looks like her friends hijacked her blog and asked us all to post today about one of our favorite moments of Edie and link it from her blog. Edie and her family have had a rough couple of weeks. And the hopes and prayers are this will lift her up!!
I met Edie at Blissdom 2 years ago – she was a peach! That was the year I was up Nester’s butt because I was having major social-awkwardness-issues and the Nester was really the only person I knew. Edie had made Nester the cutest bird {and we couldn’t stop talking about it!!!} But Edie was such a genuine person. I just remember how nice she was and smiley! I had only visited her blog one time at that point!!! Sad, I know – but I’ve never been a huge blog reader, even in the beginning! {I have too many kids to hang out on the computer more than necessary – they are afflicted with an interrupting tendency!!!!}
Since I have been on her blog many {uhmm, yeah very many} times. Something about Edie’s style is infectious. I love it. I want it. One time I posted about a room in her house – the girls’ room!!!!
It was her daughters’ room 2 Christmases ago!!! I love this color combination and wanted to re-create it – down to the rubber boots by the door. But that sounded really stalker-ish. I do try to refrain myself.
At times.
BUT I wanted this room . . . in a bad kinda way. More for myself than Emme.
If you have never spent any time over at Life {in} Grace, go over there and read! Edie is a beautiful spirit in and out!
Happy Birthday, Edie! I hope you have a wonderful day. May God bless you and comfort you and your family during this time and all times.

What a GORGEOUS room! I will have to check out her blog!

hugs,
edie
I love Life in Grace. I have been so sad for what her family is going through. Edie is such a beautiful person. I loved this room in that awful stalker-ish way too. Did you end up copying it?
