Full House and a Sneak Peek . . .

It has been a crazy day! My kids got an unexpected play date here at the house this morning. I have a friend, Rachel, who has 4 kids almost within the same ages as mine. She started 10 months before me and ended about 18 months after me. She spaced hers about 2 years apart {that was my original plan . . . but I didn’t want to copy her, so I changed my path to 17 1/2 months apart!} We joke around all the time that we are the only people that will watch all of the kids at one time if one of us needs a baby sitter.

There is a kid missing in this picture – Eli – he got to with his parents. Seven . . . eight, really does it matter?!? They should have left the kid here. I like how this picture is fuzzy. No one would sit still and they didn’t know I was trying to take the picture! I also think it is funny that all my kids still have on their pjs – Jingle Jammies – {thank you, Old Navy} and really, they are not Old Navy’s jingle jammies. My kids just called them that after that ridiculous commercial we saw 5,743 times last week.

And really, I posted this picture so that Rachel will know I fed her kids {alot of food!} Because I know, without a shadow of a doubt, these jokers will get in the car and start saying how hungry they are – as if they haven’t had a single thing to eat all day. That is exactly what mine would do! Never mind that we ate cupcakes, ice cream and frozen go-gurt after they ate lunch!!!

And how about a sneaky peeky?? I was planning on posting last night, but things didn’t go as planned. This picture was taken in the pm so don’t expect the best color and frankly, I’m feeling way too lazy to take another one at this moment.

I already had the next picture on the computer {random.} Here you can see the fabric it is matched too . . .

And really, the painting part is done – only I have to finish up these . . .

. . . so I can attach them to the canvas. And then it will “officially” be complete.

Only, it isn’t that simple – there is a lot that goes into these flowers – and I have a lot left to do to them.

I have to go. Apparently I have a lot to do to finish this painting!

About Kim
I picked up a paint brush for the first time 7 years ago, and haven't put it down since. My goal - To paint a canvas for my son's nursery. I never dreamed a business would be born out of it. {And if you saw the first canvas, you would think the same thing, too!}

    What a crew! It’s great that you can do that for each other.

    And, fabric roses on a painting? Can’t wait to see it!

    I can’t wait to see that painting! My aunt has 5 kids, she always said… “What’s a few more?” when they had company.

    Ok I’m just now seeing this……I’m a little slow. :) THANK YOU for watching my kiddos on such short notice. Looks like a regular day at a Wheeler playdate. I’m so sure they just mixed and mingled right on in like it was their house. James did feed them when he got them in the car. haha I have no idea how long it had been since their last “snack”. They WERE starving apparently. LOL

      and check out the veggies on the plate. And can I tell you how weird your kids are – those jokers didn’t want any ranch dressing!!!!! They actually like it raw and naked!!! I’ll eat it like that too, but if someone offers ranch, I’m sure not passing it up!
