Final decisions . . .

I really want my room finished. The room that I paint in. I need it to be a space that gives me inspiration. A room that I want to stay in for hours. Comfortable. Charming. A room to brag about. One of those studios/rooms you see in a magazine.

I really thought I wanted a lot of color in here. I do like a lot of color. But only in my decorating. You guys will probably be shocked to know that about 28 days out of the month, I wear solid colors.

But that is another story for another time.

I’ve decided to tone it down in here. I want soft colors – relaxing colors. My walls have to stay this builder’s beige color that it is currently. Only because I don’t need any reflections of any kind while I paint.

So, I found this office chair that you guys are going to die when you see {and die when you found out how much I paid for it . . . on CRAIGS LIST – like that was a question?!?} As soon as my upholstery guy can squeeze me in, I’ll show it to you. But I will go ahead and show you the fabric . . .

As you can tell, I’m still going more on the funkier side of things. And the colors are not as bold as they seem in this picture.

Do you all remember the chicken coop table that I traded out a dresser for??

Well, I think I decided on a paint color for it.

I’ll let you guess which one you think it will be! I did choose one of these colors, but I chose another color out of the same group for the sofa table that holds all my paints. That’s right – I haven’t painted that yet!

I also want to paint my table that I paint on! Stark white – with a piece of glass on top. Just to give it that “clean” look. And the glass . . . to give me that easy clean.

I’m sure it will take me forever to get the few things done, done! But hopefully before the end of summer.

We’ll see.

About Kim
I picked up a paint brush for the first time 7 years ago, and haven't put it down since. My goal - To paint a canvas for my son's nursery. I never dreamed a business would be born out of it. {And if you saw the first canvas, you would think the same thing, too!}
