Seriously, these pictures are huge! You can really see what this room is about!!
I’ve been in some slo-mo lately. I really think it took me about 4 weeks to complete this piece! I wasn’t stuck, not at all! After I saw the bedding, the furniture, knew the style, heard the name . . . . I knew exactly what I was going to do! My time has just been crunched lately. ???? And I don’t really know why – my time was just needed more by my crazies {apparently, go read the last post!}
I love this bedding. I almost got it for Em. It is the perfect shade of pink. PERFECT SHADE!
And who does not LOVE some ruffles looking like a flower? But this isn’t the only bedding . . .
There will also be a quilt – that will add a punch of color!
And other than the bedding, this piece of furniture is the only other thing FOR SURE going into the room! {New construction!} Wall colors are not even chosen! I was told that they were going to go off my painting – YIKES! The heat is turned UP!
I’m in love with this cabinet! I can totally see Madame Alexander dolls lined up in it. And for the record – it is not white. A very creamy white – in the middle of white and off-white, which in my world, I call Christmas White.
I finished the painting and this is what it looked like. BUT I knew I wasn’t finished! {Excuse the lighting, it is some gloomy, rainy weather we are experiencing today.}
I made a bunch of fabric flowers. You can’t see, but they have a very light dusting of glitter on them. Then I added some leaves {because it looked like something was missing without them!}
AND so glad I did! {Hope Paisley’s mom is, too!}
I have to say, I get tons of emails from pregnant ladies saying they found their baby’s name on my site – which I love! And I do get some great names to paint. A perfect example is both of these names.
{Lauren, I hope it was worth the wait!}

Wow, the painting is STUNNING!!!! I think it is my favorite yet. And the bedding is to die for.
Wow. I’m speechless, which doesn’t happen often.
Wow! You outdid yourself. The painting is beautiful and perfect for a little girl. The flowers definitely add that special “something”.
I’m thinkin’ that Lauren will definitely find that worth it! It’s absolutely gorgeous, Kim. Just when we think that you can’t get any more talented, LOOK.AT.WHAT.YOU’VE.DONE! You are so, so, so talented – trained or not!
LOVE it!! You did a great job. And I am loving the flowers “dusted” in glitter. Perfect!
Huh? I can’t believe you’ve only been doing this for 5 years! How great that you get to make money doing something you love. Congrats!
xoxo,
Kim

The pink bedding came from Land of Nod. I have no idea where the quilt came from.
OMGosh – you have totally outdone yourself.!!! The fabric roses with glitter…..gorgeous.
Wow Kim…this has to be my favorite. Each one gets better and better. Absolutely stunning!!
That painting is absolutely gorgeous! Love it all. Love the furniture, love the bedding, love the painting. LOVE IT!
Very pretty Kim. When I was shopping for boy clothes for Riley yesterday, I kept touching all the girl stuff. Mitch was yelling at me, saying “we don’t have a girl, stop touching that stuff” but I just couldn’t help it. I LOVE my little guy, but I can’t buy or make “pretty” things (like this painting) for him. With 3 little guys (before Em) I’m sure you know that feeling. To make up for it, my bedroom has slowly been going into a more feminine direction, Mitch is gonna love me for that, hehee.
Anyways, the flowers on your painting are perfect. I love it.
This is precious! I have A 7 week old baby girl named Paisley Grace. Nice to see how her name may have looked if I could have gotten you to do a painting for me, although her nursey is done in aqua and red!
LOVE.IT.
This is so weird! I have a 4 month old names Emersyn Paisley & I have NEVER seen this site til now! Your stuff is amazing!
That is CRAZY! First off – both names are not very common AND second you have both – flipped!
AND I’m glad you found my blog!!!
Hi there! I just wanted to let you know that seeing your painting inspired the name we have chosen for our daughter! We are adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia and we have chosen the name Emersyn!!
I’d have you paint her name if every penny we have isn’t going towards the adoption lol….but your things are beautiful!
Lindsay
