Because I still can’t believe I told you all about that incident.
Everybody remember the owls? If not, give it a few seconds and the banner will flip to them! Well, they were a birthday gift for Gracie. And let me say, Gracie is a huge fan of owls. So huge, that her birthday party was owl themed. And I just received an email with pictures of Gracie’s party.
Seriously! This is the first time I’ve ever seen Gracie and she is precious! And I love how her shirt also has an owl on it!
And the cake! OH.THE.CAKE!!! Check it out!!!!! I LOVE the fact that it looks like the OWL! My owl, which incidentally now belongs to Gracie, but I still take ownership in the fact that it is my creation!

I loooove that cake! I would have adored that as a kid. I’ve always been an owl fan. My favorite bag (and my current wallet and checkbook cover) is the Night Owl pattern from Vera Bradley. I was so upset when it was discontinued. I have a hoodie robe that I received for Christmas this year that is pink with owls on it that looks almost just like the owl on her cake. So cute!

My wife and mine’s niece will be turning 6 in Nov. She seen your cake and loves it. She wants an owl themed cake for her B-Day and my wife has been doing various themed cakes for about a year now. I hope you do not mind, but I was curious how you made this cause my wife would like to attempt this cake. She was also focused a lot on how you made the blossoms and butterflies and the owl itself. This is an excellent looking cake. Great job!

I’m sorry, but I didn’t make this cake. Actually, I have no idea who did! I painted 4 owl canvases for a client several states away and then she had this cake made to replicate the paintings.
